The City of Apopka will host the Opportunity Apopka Business Expo on January 9 from 9 am to noon at the Apopka Community Center. Local entrepreneurs, small business owners, and aspiring startups are invited to attend the Opportunity Apopka Business Expo on Friday, January 9, from 9 am to noon at the Apopka Community Center.

Hosted by the City of Apopka’s economic development team, the expo is designed to strengthen Apopka’s business community by bringing together entrepreneurs and organizations that provide essential tools, services, and guidance for starting and growing a business. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with resource providers focused on business development, financing, mentorship, and innovation.

More than 50 resource partners have been invited to participate, with several agencies already confirmed. These include the National Entrepreneur Center, the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), Prospera, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the UCF Business Incubation Program, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida, the Inventors Council of Central Florida, Duke Energy, and the Florida Export Finance Corporation.

City officials say the expo will highlight opportunities for collaboration and provide practical information for businesses at every stage, from early concept to expansion. Additional participating organizations are expected to be announced ahead of the event.

The Opportunity Apopka Business Expo is free to attend and open to the public. More information about the event and other economic development initiatives is available through the City of Apopka’s Economic Development Department.
